"Back on familiar territory for visiting steam locomotive"
Much has changed at Melton Constable since LMS 4F No. 44422 worked the former M&GN. It seemed appropriate though that the loco should visit its old stamping ground at the former railway works before continuing its jouney to the North Norfolk Railway where it will take part in the “That’s Yer Lot Gala” Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the closure of the line in 1959.
