My first visit for a couple of month’s concentrating on video rather than stills today (trying out a new video mic).
J15 65462 & 34081 '92 Squadron' were in steam today …
Pictures or video should appear more frequently over the coming months..

Friday 25th March (Good Friday)
It would have been nice to have been blessed with a little sunshine this Easter weekend to highlight the colours of early spring…
Not to be I’m afraid, the forecast is Grey throughout. This was our first to the NNR since the newly installed run-round at Sheringham was brought into operation. Trains can now use the full length of Platform 1.
WD 90775 & 34081 ’92 Squadron’ were in Steam today.
Image one shows ’92 Squadron’ coming off the new run-round at Sheringham.

Not an actual visit to the North Norfolk Railway
Just an update of a few ‘Green Arrow’ images not previously included.

The Evening of Saturday 5th February 2005
I’ve never had go at taking pictures in the dark (not of steam loco’s anyway) so when my friend Ben (Fraser) invited me along to his ‘Photo Shoot’ it was an ideal opportunity to try my hand. Being a novice at such events I was a little unsure of the procedure and with Prime vantage points already taken up by experienced snappers, It was a case of getting in where and when the opportunity arose, in true ‘paparazzi style’. However, as well as numb fingers and toes I managed to I come away with some rather pleasing shots, considering it was a new experience involving rather a lot of trial and error to get the right exposures!
The Photo Shoot took place at Weybourne and featured V2 60800 'Green Arrow' and J15 65462
Ben organised the shoot to help raise funds for the forthcoming restoration of the B12.
Thanks Ben.

Sunday 16th January 2005
60800 'Green Arrow' is due to leave the North Norfolk Railway at the end of February. So I'm planning to spend as many free weekends as possible between now and then enjoying the sights and sounds of this magnificent beast.
Special thanks to Andy Potter & Ben Fraser for the 1st class footplate ride on 60800 today..
