Sunday November 19th
The Stratford 47 group's 47596 'Aldeburgh Festival'
47596 arrived at the Mid-Norfolk Railway on Thursday 16th November where further restoration will take place before entering traffic. The 1965 built locomotive currently carries Rail Express Systems
Livery.
Many thanks to Roland Terry for our guided tour this afternoon.

Saturday June 17th
"Pictures from the Transport through the Decades: 1960s weekend"
including three shots from the northern section.

I was only able to make it over to Dereham on the Saturday of the two day event.
Many more exhibits are expected to arrive on Sunday.

Saturday June 3rd
After a month-long stay at the Mid-Norfolk Railway, it was 9466's last day in service.
A glorious sunny day just like you'd imagine June to be, quite a contrast from recent weeks. The trains were exceptionally busy today. I took these pictures around Dereham
station after the departure of the 15.40..
I think everyone must have boarded the train...including the station staff!

"I have also uploaded some video clips from the day"

Sunday May 28th
My first chance to get over to the Mid-Norfolk to see 9466 in action and maybe take some pictures and video.
Unfortunately what started off as a lovely sunny morning soon disappeared under a blanket of dark, sometimes threatening clouds.
I managed to capture a few images at Dereham before 9466 departed with the 13.00 service for Wymondham Abbey.
'No video I'm afraid'.
