North Norfolk Railway 2011 - features six chapters filmed at the North Norfolk Railway over the past 12 months.
Because of the loco’s significance to Norfolk’s railway heritage, the long awaited ‘home-coming’ of Ivatt 4MT 43106 had to be the highlight of the North Norfolk Railway’s 2011 calendar. Following a lengthy and extensive overhaul, the Severn Valley Railway-based loco visited the Poppy Line to take part in this year’s Autumn Steam Gala. 43103 can be seen in action over the line, together with many other locomotive types on this 66 minute DVD.

Vintage Revival 4 Minutes approximately
First we take a glimpse back to October 2010 when visitors to the NNR/M&GN Society Members’ Day were greeted with the surprise
appearance of three of the Society’s restored vintage vehicles. The three-vehicle train formed up behind Ring Haw consisted of the 1887 built
M&GN five-compartment coach No. 129, the Wisbech and Upwell Tramcar No. 7, built by the GER at Stratford in 1884, and 1881 BRCW built
M&GN Brake down train riding van No.12 - A combined age incidentally of 371 years!

Spring Gala 13 Minutes approximately
The first event of the 2011 calendar got off to a flying start as six steam engines were brought together for the March Gala weekend. J15 65462,
Hunslet 16-inch Ring Haw, 56xx 5619, 57xx L99, 34xx 3717 City of Truro, 3F 47406 and J72 69023 Joem which looked absolutely stunning
paired with the Quad-Arts.
Red Pannier 3 Minutes approximately
On a glorious spring day, visiting London Transport liveried Pannier tank L99 and its rake of maroon coaches adds a blaze of colour
to the north Norfolk landscape.
Diesel Intermission 6 Minutes approximately
A break in this predominately steam programme as a selection of the line’s diesel locomotives are featured. LEV1 (the NRM's (Leyland Experimental Vehicle)) has become very popular with visitors to the railway and can be seen working alongside the North Norfolk Railway’s German-built Railbus E79960. Loco hauled trains are in the capable hands of the Devon Diesel Society’s Class 37 6737.
Summer of Steam 41 Minutes approximately
A chapter brimming with memories of a spectacular ‘Summer of Steam’. Sequences from special events and mid-week running have been edited together to create an exciting look-back at some of the most memorable moments. Featured in this chapter are: Ivatt 4MT 43106, 9F 92203 Black Prince,
Black Five 45305, 57xx L99, 56xx 5619, J15 65462 and J94 68030.
